A significant data breach involving Stolplit, a major Russian furniture hypermarket chain, was identified in June 2025. The incident resulted in the public exposure of a database containing approximately 2.6 million user records. The leaked data includes sensitive personal information such as full names, email addresses, and phone numbers. Additionally, the dump contained security credentials in the form of MD5 hashes with salt and BCRYPT hashes. The exposure of these records poses a risk of credential stuffing and phishing attacks against the affected customers.
