Barahla.net 2025

In March 2025 the Russian classifieds platform Barahla.net was subjected to a data scraping incident. An unauthorized actor utilized automated parsing techniques to collect information from user profiles. The resulting dataset contains approximately 720 thousand records. The exposed data includes mobile phone numbers, links to user profiles, nicknames, and specific dates of registration on the platform. This type of incident often leads to targeted spam and phishing campaigns against the affected users.
